Hello,

I am using a mac book pro laptop for HD video editing on final cut Express. It's a 1.83 Ghz intel core duo with 2GB ram. I think my graphics card is causing playback issues. It is a ATY,RadeonX1600 w/ 128
MB VRAM. 128 seems kinda low. Any Ideas?

^ jealous fool.

Anyway, like the others said, that card is better than intel junk, but still not good enough for video editing. Unfortunately, you can't [feasibly] upgrade the graphics card in a laptop. If you want better performance, you'll have to buy a new one.

P.S. the performance of a graphics card is, for the most part, not measured by the amount of vram. It is all about the number of cores in it.
