Fail to boot first time.

Hello,
Just having a bit of teething trouble with a new build. After i push the power button, it starts to boot, beeps, powers off, and then boots successfully to windows. Also, only 4g/6g of my ram is showing up. I'm using an Asrock X58 Extreme6 Mobo, i7 950 CPU and 3x2g sticks of 1600Mhz DDR3 Ram.

*edit*Wondering if the first boot attempt is it attempting to boot of the 'missing' stick of ram which could be dead?

Problem fixed, strangely. I just swapped my ram from slot 1 with my ram from slot 3 and it then booted first time and detected the 6 gigs.
