Feels like I've tried everything possible to get this video card to work. Every time I try using Aero theme, I get a blue screen. Only certain drivers will work on this computer, but not all the way. I still have grainy resolution on youtube videos with white lines going down them. When I try to play a game, it will blue screen.

Blue Screen error is 0x00000119

My system spec is

Windows 7 x64 Ultimate
AMD Phenom x6 1090T
4GB DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model OCZ3P16004GK
GIGABYTE GA-890GPA-UD3H AM3 AMD 890GX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
SAPPHIRE 100283-3L Radeon HD 5770 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card
PSU is an Antec 1000 watt supply

What I've tried

updating the BIOS

Using ATI catalyst versions 9.12, 10.1, 10.2, 10.4, 10.4, 10.5, 10.6, 10.7, 10.8, 10.9, 10.12, 11.1 and their latest 11.2. Only 10.2-10.7 work..but even then I still get blue screens upon entering Aero mode, and games, as well as terrible grainy resolution on Youtube videos. Used driver sweeper as well

Reinstalled windows twice

Disabling on-board graphics card.

Anything else I can do?

Return the card for a replacement.

*** does happen and this is similar to Laptop issue I had with an Nvidia Quadro card.

I replaced the card and its all good since.

Your could try as one last effort to check if the heat sink is correctly fitted, but this wouldn't account to the poor picture quality so its probably not that.

Try to get a replacement

Last thought (probably a stupid question) is the 6pin PCIexpress power supply plugged in?
