Weird CPU and core temp

I just built a new computer using a i5 3.1 GHZ cpu with a HAF 932 case so airflow is nice with cables out of the way. Only thing I haven't upgraded just yet is the video card. My cpu runs at 75-85c idle and core temps at 35-45c idle. Yet when I play a game its 50-60c core and 60-70c cpu. I am very confused yet my stock fan is on the cpu perfectly and everything. Anyone know whats up?

Have you overclocked? If not, are you sure your heatsink is mounted properly? Is the thermal paste any good?

Wait, how does that work, your CPU idles 85 but in game its 60-70? So your temp goes down with load? Did you write that properly or is it just bad sensors?

Yes thats it.
Speedfan shows 88c cpu temp. And 35c core temp.
Also I just bought a great cpu fan. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103065
And it still shows the same cpu temp. I'm thinking its a sensor problem.
