No DVI Input on my Monitor?

I recently got an Sapphire HD 5770 Vapor-X which has an HDMI Port and 2 DVI Ports but apparently no VGA ports (i only found this out after i bought it) and I have an old LCD Monitor and it only has 1 VGA Port. So, I found some DVI to VGA convertor/adapter online. I was wondering if I convert the DVI signal to VGA from the graphics card and plug it in to the monitor, will it work? It should therotically, but has anyone tried it before?

Yes, it will most definitely work. In fact, the card may come with one. I used a dvi > vga on my 5750 for a year after I bought it before I upgraded my monitor and it worked fine.
