Bridge ADSL modem access point

Hello,
I have an ADSL2+ Modem Router and an Access Point. The question is that, how can I connect this two, to each other and make the wireless connection?

usually the two are connected via network cable.
after login into the AP you would configure the wireless security.

it would help if you would have provided the make and model of the equipments
