I need to upgrade my video card

Hello, I have no idea what I'm doing. :( 

I need to upgrade my video card for gaming purposes. The upgrade is temporary just to get this computer to the point of being able to play newer games while I work on building my new PC. The problem is, I have no idea what kind of card is compatible with this PC. Any help would be MUCH appreciated!

Edit: I did some digging and I think the motherboard I have is a Gateway SX2803 motherboard as well....according to Speccy..

If you are building a new pc then get a high-end card. So you can use it on new pc.

You can get a GTX670. Its around $400.

You also need a 500watt psu with that. I think if you spend in this gfx+psu now, if you can, then it will help you later building new pc.
