USBs not working when windows 7 starts

Hey guys. I have searched around on Google to find an answer to this problem, but haven't found a solution yet.
When I turn on my computer my keyboard and mouse work fine before windows loads. But after windows loads, my keyboard and mouse lights turn off and they don't work. I have tried different USB ports, but none work. I don't have the windows 7 disc for my PC. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

More about usbs working windows starts
  1. Some Keyboards and Mice require drivers installed to work properly go to the manufacturers website and get them.
  2. move them to new usb ports and win7 should detect and load the drivers.
If that fails check device manager and make sure the usb ports are enabled.
  3. The only problem is I can't do anything after windows loads up because my keyboard and mouse stop working. They worked perfectly before. Is there a way to get the drivers without loading windows. I tried switching ports already, it didn't do anything.
  4. Remove ALL USB connections and try one at a time.
Try the keyboard. Remove the keyboard and try the mouse.
If neither work by themselves check your BIOS and see if USB Keyboard and mouse are enabled.
  5. None of them worked. Their enabled in the BIOS.
  6. Do you have the old stlye mouse and keyboard connectors?
PS/2 connectors and keyboard or mouse?
  7. No I tried finding one to buy arouns where I live but couldn't. Might have to look around online.
  8. try starting in safe mode and check your USB settings there,, (hit f8)
  9. They don't work in safe mode either
  10. I did a memory test because I started getting bsod when I tried to start up. XMATS32 failed. Memory compare error, DIMM_2. What exactly does that mean.
  11. Never mind fixed the memory error, just have my original problem.
