Hello,I have a HP 6735b, with a Optiarc D 7561s SCIS DVD-RW. It gave me no problems untill now, it reads some times, some times it won't. I've run the drives, was told that they were up to date. Ran a systems check and was told that there is no problem in the reader itself. I don't know that I did, but every thing I can check seems to be fine, it just won't run, when I want it to. I'll put in a disk, it revs up, dies down, clicks 3 times and just idles after that. I don't have anything else to check. Any one know or have had this problem before? Thanks for the help.

The clicking noise makes it sound like a laser focusing issue. Open the drawer and verify the laser lens is there and not loose, if so try cleaning the lens.
