Sony vaio won't turn on

Hello,
my sony vaio laptop will turn on. I have check the battery using another laptop and it works. I have also check the motherboard lock and unlock switch, it is on unlock. When I put power lead to charge the battery, the battery light come on, so it is charging. Please help

Step 1 :remove the battery
step 2 : keep pressing the power button for 25 seconds.
step 3 : put the battery back on
step 4: turn on

hope this works.. sometimes my dell does the same.
this method works
