Hi,

on my IBM TP R31 with P3-M-1Ghz the fan seems to go continuously when the
HDD gets hot, which makes no sense as the HDD is not even near the CPU and
in no way connected by any vent tunnels.
According to MobileMeter my CPU Temp. is around 40 to 47 degrees celsius.
usually the fan doesnt got then. but as the HDD goes over 45 degrees
celcius, the fan wont stop going.

any clues?
