Boots fine with 4 sticks of ram but not 2

So currently I have 4 sticks of 2gb ram in my system which I will detail below. I'm just kind of confused why this would happen and I was wondering what you guys thought. I wanted to take out 2 sticks of ram to put in my other test build. When I pulled them I couldn't get my system to boot windows it would just BSOD. I tried putting the ram in different slots with no success.

Phenom II x6 1045t
Asus M4a785td-m Evo
2x2gb Some cheap G.Skill ram

I thought it had something to do with my overclock, so I took my FSB from 250 to 200, but still BSOD. Weird right?

Just curious what you guys thought.

Thanks both of you. I think they were in the right channels but I'll give it another shot. Also memtest is a great idea, because it might be something in my windows partition.
