If your CPU is an Intel it's OK. If it's an AMD it's way too hot.

(1)..What CPU?
(2)..What HSF are you using? If Itel HSF, Which is Lousy, and at Idle Temps are too HIGH.
(3)..Is your temp at idle or under load. If @ Idle Highly recommend fixing problem!!!
(4).. what is ambient (Room) temps.

If this is for a newer Intel CPU your Idle temps with the Stock HSF should be upper 30s -> upper 40s. Most common problem with the Stock HSF (Excluding its pi2s poor performance) is improper Push-pin seating - Google installing the Intel HSF, look at video. Note the white nubs, should all be protruding on back side of MB

You got to push pretty hard before the pins get through, then you have to turn to lock in. I really think you should reseat CPU with AS5, I just did it. I was idling 60's, after reseat I'm idling 30s, even 20's. At load I'm only touching 70's. Ambient room temp 20.
