Hello, everyone. I'm about to build my first pc ever and want to go with a gaming rig. I've done some research and decided on the following components and I think I got it right but would like the experts opinion. Thanks

Motherboard: GA-890gpa-ud3h
CPU: AMD phenom ii x6 1090t W/FAN
PSU: Apevia ATX WA1100W
Case:Xion AXP 100 MidTower
RAM: Corsair 16GB ddr3 2000 240 pin ddr3 sdram
Graphics: amd radeon hd 6870 1gb gddr5 (gigabyte GV-R6870C-1GD)
Storage: WD Caviar Black 750gb sata3 7200 rpm 64mb


I have not decided on a monitor yet. Should i settle for 1960x1200 or go for something higher. I prefer the 16:9 aspect ratio instead of 16:10. I want a great gaming monitor but dont want to make my wallet suffer. (need suggestions}

Please all suggestions are welcome.

What is your budget? What games do you play? What stores have you priced these parts from?

I have spent about $800 US including gaming keyboard and mouse and dvd drive. I dont want to spend more than $300 on the monitor.

So you have already bought all the components listed? If so I would say a 1920x1200 or 1900x1080 resolution monitor.

I already have the listed items. I did kind of rushed a little but I was really excited. I like Playing fast pace games, mostly car race like need for speed and test drive 2 unlimited, online gaming is a priority as well. Love war games.
