Epson colour printer 875dc Paper Quality

What app are you printing from and what size prints are you making?
Something is wrong if these are grainy in anything below 8x10.

My experience based on the 1270, which uses similar inks, is that for glossy
I have to use Epson Glossy or Premium Glossy photo paper. For matte paper,
I don't think it'll really make much difference, but I use Epson's anyway.

I have the 1270, which is the same printer in a wide format. My results are
stunning with Epson Premium Glossy.

Cheap paper == bad results

So do I, along with a an R800 now and your statement is not always true.
The Epson Glossy Photo Paper sold in a 100 pack at Costco yields quite good
results. Yes, for better quality the premium paper is a bit better. Theses
printers ink does not appear to like the Kodak papers at all though.

Greetings Ed,

Try visiting the Kodak OneTouch site to get the printer settings for Kodak
paper and your printer. Make sure you have the latest driver installed and
reset the printer with the information included. This should make a
difference.

For example, if you are using Ultima paper and your Epson 1270 have the
following settings

Custom Advanced> Print Quality Photo 1440 dpi,High Speed Off, Color Controls
Yellow +10, Magenta -5

If you visit the following Webpage you will find information about the
settings and your printer to go with all the other Kodak papers.
