Hello,

I just recently ordered new components from newegg to build my new computer. As I was reading some reviews to pass the time, I noticed that someone spoke of checking the AsRock site for memory compatibility. If the memory is not on the list will it not have a chance of working?

Here is my current specs:

Memory:
CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9

CPU:
Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core

GPU:
EVGA SuperClocked 01G-P3-1563-AR GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16

PSU:
CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX650 V2 650W ATX12V v2.31/ EPS12V v2.92 80 PLUS BRONZE

Case:
Corsair Carbide Series 400R Graphite grey and black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Gaming Case

HD:
SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

DVD:

What you have should work great. What their talking genreal (not always but 99% of the time) about when it comes to combatiblity for ram what your worried about is DDR, DDR2, DDR3, etc and single channel, dual channel, quad channel and htz IE 1333, 1600, etc and lastly ECC or non-ECC.
Mobo is Dual channel, DDR3, that supports the 1600hz speed and is non-ecc
RAM is Dual channel, DDR3, 1600hz, Non-ecc - you should be good to go
