I'm looking at getting a GTX 460 1GB. The EVGA I'm looking at is at a better price point, but I've heard that EVGAs overheat often and have a habit of dying. On the flip side I've read nothing but good things about MSI and their ability to stay cool.

So the question is, do EVGAs actually have a heating issue? Would it be safer to pay more and get the MSI?

The EVGA's Core Clock is 850 while the MSI is at 810.

Any opinions or suggestions would be appreciated.

I personally prefer MSI. EVGA has a better warranty, but MSI is a better value overall... haven't had a single MSI product fail on me yet.
