Which CPU to get?

i am building a new desktop pc that i will use for games but only a few. this is the link for the mobo im thinking of getting.

i dont know what processor to get, so that's where you come in. i would like it to have at least some power but i dont know what is compatable with it and i'm trying to keep the costs low.

well it says it called "ASRock N68C-S UCC - AM2/AM2+/AM3 nVidia GeForce 7025, DDR2/DDR3 5.1 Channel Audio mATX RAID LAN - 6 Core CPU Ready" but that does not look like a name to me.

sounds like a cheap motherboard, but its compatable with any AMD phenom II or athlon II CPU. I would recommend a phenom II 955 as a good budget CPU that will handle any game and has room to overclock if you want.

That board doesn't support 125W processors like the 955BE. You can use I think any Athlon II or Phenom II x3 see this link for full list of officially supported CPUs http://www.asrock.com/mb/cpu.asp?Model=N68C-S%20UCC A good budget CPU is any Athlon II x 3

That board is based on an outdated nvidia chipset. I suggest you get a board based on a newer AMD 800 series chipset with support for 4 sticks of DDR3, USB 3.0, & SATA 6Gb/s. Do you really need/want onboard video? This BIOSTAR board was just on sale at newegg but it sold out quickly:
