GTX 460 1TB for under $200

Going over $200, I would go with the GTX 560 Ti or Radeon 6850 1TB

What are your full system specs?(PSU,mobo,CPU,resoultion, etc.)
What games are you looking to play and at what resoultion?

The best card for $200 would be the 6870.But for $20 more you can get a 1G 6950 or a GTX560.
From most powerful to least...

GTX560

im running
AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 955 Processor (4 CPUs), ~3.2GHz
Mobo is MSI NF750-G55
4GB DDR3 G-skill gaming ram.
COOLER MASTER Silent Pro M600 RS-600-AMBA-D3 600W

Running at a resolution of 1440 by 900 but i might do some gaming on a 32 hdtv if any of these cards can hold that.

Im planning on playing most new games coming out in 2011 and early 2012

I Know most cards aren't going to be able to max out games in 2012 that are out right now so im perfectly fine with playing 2012 games in medium setting.

let me know if you need anything else

Well any of the cards i listed above should be able to max out any game you can throw at it @1440x900.
I'm assuming your 32" TV is 720p? or is it 1080p?
Either way they should have no problem almost maxing it out.

If you start to see your gaming experinece isn't what you would like it to be you can always add another card for Crossfire or SLI whenever you need it.

So which card are you intrested in?

ok thanks for all the help so far.

My last couple of questions are

Since im planning to record my gameplay my FPS are going to drop so that why im looking for a card that will get the job done at
high FPS.

I can't buy any of these cards till july this year because i need to save up my money first, so do you think that these cards will still be able to run these new games coming out at a decent Frame rate.
because i don't really wanna buy a 200 dollar card and then within the next year all games are unplayable again.
My motherboard can run sli cards but i couldn't fit a 2 slot card into the bottom slot because it will block my regular pci slot for my wifi adapter.

So im basically looking for the card that will run for the next couple year and will do a good job at it.
but i really want keep my budget as close to 200 dollars as i can. I know in july these cards will most likely drop in price anyway. So basically with all that stuff what do you think would be the best card for me to get.

Thanks

Edit-
Oh yea the card that i have been looking at the most is the Radeon HD 6870 so late me know what you think of that card and which Manufacturer i should buy it from

I think either the best card for you would be the GTX560 or the 6870.I currently own a 6870 and it does really good.Waiting to get another for crossfire.
Either a GTX560 or a 6870 will give you wait your looking for in the next couple years. As i was saying when the time comes and a single GTX560 or 6870 just doesn't cut it anymore you can add another for Crossfire or SLI and it will be as good as new again. And i'm sure in 2 years it will be dirt cheap to buy another. Also by that time i'm sure you will have enough money to buy a new mobo for a dual card setup.Don't forget that you will also need to upgrade your PSU when you want to SLI or Crossfire.

I reccomend getting a GTX560 as it does perform a little better than the 6870 for around the same price.Although the 6870 is still a great card.

MSI GTX560 $250+ $5 Shipping(prices are subject to change when you go to buy in july)

Asus 6870 $220=$200 after MIR + $5 shipping

Both these cards exhaust internally but they have such good heatsinks it really doesn't raise the temps a whole lot.If you'd like to get a card that exhuast out the back i can look for one.

oh yea i know that, which card is better currently running at just 1 card because in a year in a half or 2 years i will have a job so i'll me making alot more money so i could get a whole new setup.

I heard that the nvidia cards will stay working strong for a long time but then again i don't know if i can pay a 250 card. But the i heard that the radeon cards work really really good but just for a year or 2.

the good thing is i don't have any money till july so by then these cards will drop in price at least a little bit.

what do you think of your 6870, would you recommend this card to me for what im planning to do(Record my gameplay).

Honestly the decision is totally up to you.Your useage for the card varies from mine.I'd reccomend from your standpoint getting a 6870 only because it can manage what your asking of it without a problem.

If i had the choice to choose again i would get either the GTX560 or the 6950 because i really like maxing out games with FPS 60+.I bought the 6870 a month or 2 after it came out.Which was long before the GTX560 or 6950 was on the market.

Here's a review of all the cards we talked about.Maybe you should take a look, maybe it will help you choose which card is best for you.

i agree with you and i like maxing out my games 2 but i understand that the newer the games the harder it is to max out the games.

Ok so i'm guess that in july the 6950 and the GTX 560ti card going to be about 200 bucks so out of those 2 which one would you recommend to me for recording my games and still playing out meaning i need a high FPS in all games.

Get the GTX560.The 6950 is slighty faster but only by a few.The GTX560 is much cooler and is a much better overclocker.Overall the GTX560 is the complete package.

Ok thank you for the help and this is seriously the last question i want to ask you.

Which GTX560 should i get(like what manufacturer) that is going to perform really well in what im trying to do and will be right around 200 or maybe in even a little less in July.

Again thanks

The best GTX560 in my opinion is the Twin Frozer GTX560.It has a really good heatsink so it stays nice and cool.Only downside to it is that it exhuasts into the case and not the back.Either the MSI or Asus are the best ones to get.

Asus

MSI

ok i will most likely be going with the msi one has it looks cool and since it will fit nicely with my msi motherboard.

i was just posted another topic asking the same thing and some one told me that if i get a super overclocked verison of a 480 its almost like a 580 but i don't think i will be doing this because when i looked at the price it was well above 300 bucks so thats not really an option

Oh yea in that topic that i posted a lot of people are telling me to get the gigabyte super clocked version. what do you think of that.

Even tho the 480 can be like a 580 neither of those cards have the tecnology the 560 has.The 560 is a brand new card and the 480 is somewhat old.The 560 will become much better when newer games come out.

That card looks nice but it doesn't have Direct CU.The Asus and MSI models have Direct CU which is better for cooling.

Ok thank you so much with the help that you have given me ive really learned alot from you and you pretty much helped my make my final decision and that is MSI GPU. Thanks again.
Hope this card does what its suppose to do.

Oh yea what do you think the FPS is going to be on like new games coming out like battlefield 3 on a 1440 x 900 display.

Thanks again so much

On a 1440x900 display with BF3 you should be able to max it out with FPS in the 70's and higher.70+fps.
