ASUS Sabertooth 990FX AM3+

Hello all. I just purchaced a ASUS Sabertooth 990FX AM3+ (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131736R)

I noticed it had a 8pin CPU connector, but my PSU only has a 4pin. I was wondering, could I just buy a 4 to 8 pin adapter, such as (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812200459) or am I going to need to invest in a new PSU?

I'd like to upgrade in the future anyways to something modular, but not until I get re-employed.

Alright, thanks for the fast reply. I wasn't sure and I didn't want to have to leave the mobo sitting in the closet cause I couldn't afford an upgrade to the PSU.
