They can't be the same.

I'm shopping for a new PSU to power a radeon HD 6850.
After looking through AMD's list of certified PSUs, I found one with two drastically different prices at two suppliers:

http://www.amazon.com/750W-High-Cur...1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1314839866&sr=1-1

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371052&Tpk=High Current Pro HCP-750

Do you think these might be different versions of the same product? Any chance they could be the same quality?
Just looking for any input. Thank you.

I agree, very hard to believe. The pictures show two different PSU's - the one from Amazon (well, from Shop Icon, really) says it is a Signature series unit, and the fan system (one small one in the rear on the right) is typical of older smaller PSU's. However, one cannot assume that the picture is of the exact unit being sold. I'm not sure how you sort this one out, unless you can send a query through Amazon to the seller, and believe their response.

Even if it IS the same unit, I'd inquire whether it might be a refurb with limited or no guarantee, etc.
