Wifi Solution to connect VoIP POE phone?

I just moved in with a friend of mine that has the internet router installed in his bedroom. I have both my laptop and desktop here and while I can get access from my laptop just fine, I don't have a wireless card in my PC.

That's not a problem and a quick fix if needed. However, I work from home every few days and have a VoIP POE Avaya Phone. It needs an ethernet cable to power it and I don't want to run a 50ft cable across the hall.

I'm thinking about getting a wifi adapter to pick up the signal and with an ethernet port where I can plug the phone into. However, I don't know who makes these. I would also have to pick up a cheap wifi connector for my PC.

Does this sound like it would work? Solution and product recommendations would be well appreciated.
