Can i mix ram module types

I have Kingston KHX1333C7D3K2/4GX (cl7) that take up two slots on my MB. Can I add KHX1600C9AD3B1K2/4G (cl9) in the other two slots? Should I keep trying ot find the o riginal?

It should work fine however all the ram will operate at the slower speed of the knigston 1333.

It is never advised to mix ram models or brands. There are a number of parameters besides the usually looked at first 5. Not to say mixing does not ever work but often what you end up with is none of the ram operating optimally. In the worst case it can produce instability and memory errors.
