After a DECADE; and dumping Vista to go back to XP...I decided to make my Home Wireless network "Secure." (I have one of the early g routers by Trendway CA074 models. It's worked great for my minimal needs.

So I DECIDED I really needed to put security ON my home network.

In response I did a "hide" broadcast.

I LOST all of my connections except the Server to the Internet. (And Renamed some of the Network setup designations.)

DOES ANYONE KNOW A SIMPLE WAY TO 1.) UN-HIDE my Broadcast Bar?
And Remember -IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT and if ya GOT A REALLY GOOD FIREWALL and live in a GREAT neighborhood...Leave it ALONE !
I'm going BACK into the Trendway Software AND NEXT I ___________________________________ ?

Hook up a wire to the router from a PC, go into it's configuration and set it back.

Or

Configure a wireless adapter with the new settings you put in ( you will need to manually setup a connection with the wireless network name you use and check off "connect even if network is not broadcasting"

Or

Reset the router to factory defaults and start fresh.
