Your thoughts on my build

I justed wanted to know if this build would be considered a high end gaming rig,

Your more than welcome to recommend other stuff if you think ill get more bang for my buck.

Yes, high end for sure. Have you checked the clearance on the 902? The HD 6950s typically go about 11 1/2".

Not sure haha I will have a look. Also im really torn between GPU's atm.
Im really swaying towards the HD 6970 in crossfire like i stated but the GTX 580 really is tempting.

Before you compare the HD's in crossfire to a single gtx 580, i will consider running that card in sli later down the track if i end up getting the GTX.

What do you guys think?

How do games of today cope with Crossfire and SLI enabled in games? Never had a multi GPU rig before.

I ask this because im building this around the notion of playing BF3 MAXed out at (1920 x 1080) 1080p on a 24 in HD monitor.

theres no way you could play bf3 on that rig... nah me thinks that is a excellent rig
