Been looking to get a 6870 and having done some shopping around along with lite reading, Iv found that 560Ti comes out on top on some areas. Personally Im an AMD buyer, but maybe its worth the switch?

Prices are very close, often exactly the same.

If I were to get the 6870 Im thinking of going for Saphire's Toxic, due to the great reviews they'v always had.

So, why should I go for a 560Ti?

Also, If you think a 560 Ti is the best choice, then which one? I like all the little extras, like factory overclocked, better cooling solutions, added goodies, etc...

Looking forward to your choice

AFAIK, the 560 is often closer to the 6950 than the 6870. It's basically the middle card between the two, so if the price is the same as a 6870, it would probably be worthwhile to get the 560 instead.

If you are comparing benchmarks, be sure to look for specific GTX 560's, rather than reference models. Models with a factory overclock perform at a significantly higher level than the stock models. In fact, the GTX 560 was made to overclock, while the 6870 has limited headroom for overclocking.

The models I would consider are:

Gigabyte GTX 560 SOC

Asus GTX 560 DirectCU II:
