I have my HDD LED correctly plugged in and it is functioning properly.
I like the lights when completely and continuously illuminated (which is about 80% of the time), however I don't really enjoy the functionality as the blinking ramps up quite a bit when the hard drive read/writes; it can can get annoyingly bright and irritating at times. Also the lights slowly blink when PC is put into sleep mode; that's the weird one for me anyway. When totally disconnected it gives a faint error blinking which is just as unsettling.
My question is: Is there another pin or random connector that will either-
A.) Keep the LED's continuously illuminated.
or
B.) Make it completely unresponsive, like giving it a constant "inactive signal", but not giving a "no signal," which results in the error blinking.
Case = Rosewill Thor V2 White
Motherboard = Asus Sabertooth z77
