Greetings all,

Sorry if I miss something here first time post. I am building a new system (first for me) and wanted to get some insight and recommendations if any with my build This is for primarily a gamining system with about 1300ish US budget I dont plan on "Overclocking" anything due to I dont have the know how to mess with anything like that still very green to all this.

Antec Nine Hundred
ASUS P8P67 DELUXE (REV 3.0) ATX Intel Motherboard
Intel Core i5-2500 3.3GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply
EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti FPB (Fermi) 01G-P3-1561-AR Video Card
Western Digital RE4 1TB 3.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s Internal Enterprise Hard Drive -Bare Drive

then just std crap like my dvd drive and what not. I tried matching everythign up based on what I read on foums and reviews for compatability

Please let me know what you think and if how you would adjust/alter this build

Thanks!

I would say get the i5 2400 over the 2500 if your not overclocking as the .2Ghz spped difference isn't going to affect your performance all that much. Otherwise build looks very solid and should be good to go.

go the 2500k and overclock, you can get good speeds out of the stock cooling.
get 8gb of ram 16 is overkill and you can upgrade later anyway if need be(you can get the exact same ram youve got in 8gb versions)
i would get a sata III 6gb/s hdd, itll give alot faster speeds
your motherboard is overkill get a p8p67 pro or a ASRock Z68 Extreme4 take the extra cash to upgrade your graphics and get a gtx570 or a 6970

For the 2500k? The average 2500k stock overclock is currently around 4Ghz with a good ventilated caes that has a decent number of fans, but if you can afford it I would suggest the CoolerMaster Hyper 212+ as with this cooler the average overclock is 4.5Ghz and none the less it keeps the processor cooler at any Ghz the stock cooler can reach also its only $30 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/accessories/B002G1YPH0
