Amd Phenom II x4 955

Hello I just bought a Cooler Master Hyper 212 cpu cooler for my Phenom because the stock cooler was loud and the core temps were reaching almost 58C. So I installed the cooler and my core temps arn't much better, the proccessor never goes over 50C but the cores will go past it. Heres a pic of HWmonitor after 1 minute of stress test in prime95. To my understandings this processor shouldnt reach 51-52C or it's unsafe for it. Don't know what to do please help would be much appreciated!

Cooler Master Haf 912 Case

ASUS Sabertooth 990FX Motherboard

G.Skills PC3 1333 2x2GB RAM and Samsung PC3 1333 2x2GB RAM

AMD Phenon II x4 955 3.2ghz

MSI Radeon HD 6850

Corsair CX500 power supply

Cooler Master Hyper 212 plus CPU cooler with 2 fans and 4 case fans

Max temp is 62c not 52c, try stay around the 55c mark and you should be fine.

Thanks for the reply, when I run prime95 the max it will get is about 56C but if I just start up call of duty black ops it jumps right to 58C, is that normal?

If running Prime95 results in a lower temp than a mixed load of GPU + CPU, that suggest bad case ventilation most likely. What case, what kind of fans on it?
