Faulty Motherboard 1156 CPU socket

how big a job is it to rep;ace CPU socket 1156 Intel I3 I5....Gigabyte H55M-UD2H Motherboard..I can get the socket from Taiwan no problem , but can i do the job , I don`t know if it is soldered in or glued in...Any Help...??

    "The sockets have lead-free solder balls on the underside for surface mounting on the motherboard and use an Independent Loading Mechanism (ILM) to seat the processor onto the socket."

    You wont be able to replace the socket if it really is mounted using a grid of solder balls, that would be extremely tedious and i doubt you have the necessary equipment.
