Ga-ep43-ud3l wont boot with q6600

hello first of all this is my system
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-EP43-UD3L
CPU: Intel Pentium D 1.6 ghz
RAM: OCZ 3gb DDR2
GFX: BFG GTX 260
PSU: Rosewill 700W
HDD: Western Digital WD5001AALS 1TB
the system is runing fine but i just bought a new Intel q6600 2.4 ghz and the system wont boot when i turn it on the fans start but just for a few seconds, then it shut down, nothing on the screen.

According the the CPU Support List for that motherboard, there are two versions of the Q6600 (G0 @ 95w and B3 @ 105w) and both of these should work with the first revision of BIOS (F1) available for that board.
