PSU or GPU on which should I compromise

I can either buy the 6850 with Cooler master 600w Extreme Power Plus or the 6790 with the Cooler master GX 550.So which weill be better considering I am might change the GPU in 3-4 years.

Where are you buying from? There are much better options for power supplies, and to be honest both of those units are already a compromise. The 600W eXtreme Power Plus is a crappy overrated 450W unit, and the GX series from Cooler Master is lack luster at best.
