Hey guys i recently finished building my computer. I installed Speedfan. I have an intel I3 3.1 Ghz cpu. I checked the speedfan readings and these are the temperatures:
Fan1: 2052 RPM (is this bad?)
Fan2:0
Fan3:0
Fan4:0
Fan5:0

Temp1: 40C
Temp2:38C
Temp3:89C
Temp:0C
HD0:31C
Core0:99C
Core1:99C

I am wondering if my build is running to hot, and if the fan speed is spinning to fast.
Sorry if this is in the wrong section, not sure where to put it.

Fan 1? You would need to check the specs on your heatsink fan.
Fan 2 - 5: Either you do not have any fans plugged in to these motherboard ports or these ports do not exist.

Temps? I have no idea what more of them represent.

HD0 is obviously the hard drive temp. It is OK.

Core0 and Core1 temps are too high. Either you have bad sensors, the heatsink is not mounted properly, or the program is not reporting correctly. That is not unusual for SpeedFan.

Compare the SpeedFan readings to the BIOS readings. You will need to drop out of Windows and go to the BIOS very quickly because the chip will cool very rapidly.

Something else you can do is to compare the SpeedFan readings with those of RealTemp or CoreTemp.
