Does Office 2007 home and Student work with 64 bit windows 7

Does this software actually work on windows 7 64bit.

I've made 7 attempt to install and even redownloaded and still get. THERE WAS AN ERROR WHILE INSTALLING and doesn't install.

and I have all rights etc. etc.

My system is only 2 months old literally was manufactured oct 30 2009 Quad core 2 gig 4 gig ram windows 7 64 bit

It should, I have 2003 running on 2 computers that the 7 64 bit. and i even have the bata 2010 running on there as well, with no problems.

What every the problem is, I don't believe 64 bit is the cause.

what is the download is it like an EXE file or something? if so you can try right clicking and "Run as administrator"

Any Office 2007 edition will work on Windows 7 64-bit. Do you have any previous versions or instances of Office installed? If so, do a clean removal of it, and try to reinstall your version. Also, try disabling UAC (user acceptance control) - that'll disable any installation roadblocks. Also, make sure you're local administrator.

I have Office 2007 Home and Student on my Windows 7 64 Bit PC, there should be no problem.
