Placing a standing tower case on its side.

Can you do that? I I place a standing tower case (with all components) horizontally ( to fit into a compartment) will there be problems??? Thanks.

Mechanically speaking, as long as you don't block any vents, I don't think there will be much of a problem; however, do remember that hot air goes UP so think about the airflow.

It should not be a problem. In fact some years ago ALL computers were used on their "side".

This means that you need to lay the computer on the side with the mother board down.
