So I just installed my setup in a new case and I am using the 212 plus cooler on my 2500K CPU. It isn't overclocked but I am getting pretty high temps I think while idle.
They keeping going all over the place around 29-40 degrees, but on average are in the mid 30s for all 4 cores with only 10%-15% CPU load.
Are these temps normal or do you think I need to add more thermal paste? I am currently in process of downloading games, so I can't really test the temps under load right now.
I am using CoreTemp for the temp readings. I think with the stock cooler I was getting around the same temps or lower can't remember. I know on my AMD 955 it would be around 20-30 degrees with the 212 Plus.
