I have a Asus m3n-ht, Nforce 780i motherboard. I have just purchaced a Crucial m4 64GB SSD and have installed Windows 7 Home Premium on it. Originally Vista was running on 2 x 750GB HDD in a RAID 0 configuration. I was wondering if anyone can help.
1. Is it possible to have the SSD as my OS disk and then just have the 2 x HDD in RAID 0 for all my data and games.
2. What exactly do I need to set in the BIOS and where do I get the Window7 drivers that I need.
I am by no means a genius with PC's, especially when it comes to setting the BIOS. If it is possible could someone give me a VERY clear step by step method of how to do this.
Currently the original RAID HDD are plugged into SATA ports 1 & 2 which I believe run IDE/RAID/ACHI and the SSD is plugged into SATA port 5 Which supports just RAID/ACHI.
Even if this is not possible, please let me know as I cant find a comprehensive YES/NO answer anywhere and the guides are way to complex for me.
Hope you can help.
Cheers
