Hello, I am currently thinking of selling my gaming laptop and building a PC. I was going to use a XFX RADEON 6850 Black Edition but decided i'd spend a bit more on the GPU & im wondering if this setup will work good.

Mobo: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128445
CPU: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103808
CPU Cooler: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103065 (With a 2nd fan in Push/Pull config)
Ram: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231274
GPU: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130550&cm_re=evga_470-_-14-130-550-_-Product

All help is appreciated! :)

Solution
The GTX 470 is a good card, and even better if you can find one of the nice custom models. I highly recommend the Gigabyte GTX 470 SOC or MSI GTX 470 Twin Frozr. In fact, I would go as far as to say that a custom heatsink model would be mandatory.

Solution
I agree with matto, the 470 is a good card with proper cooling. I think mine (TF2) doesn't go much above 70-75C. The SOC is a really nice card and design, however make sure your case can fit it as it is longer than the reference and TF2. I don't think it would have fit in my Antec 300.
