Radeon HD 5570 on DG31PR

Can the Radeon HD 5570 be put on Intel Desktop Board DG31PR?

The 5570 may not work, this board has a version 1.0 PCI-E X16 slot, which tends to have problems with PCI Express 2.1 cards. Try to look for a card that is PCI Express 2.0, I think the Radeon HD 4000 series consists of 2.0 cards.

Also make sure your power supply is up to powering the card. Granted something in the league of the 5570 is not very power hungry, but you don't want to overtax the power supply and have it blow up, possibly taking other components down with it.

It should work just fine. The 5570 does not have enough throughput to by bottlenecked be even a pci-e 1.0 slot.

Most 1.0 slot boards have problems with 2.1 cards.So far that it won't even work.

Use this 5570 and you should have no problems.

Yes,that should work better but like i said theirs no gurantee it will work for sure.
