Which card is better?

just wondering which would be better: 3 x Sapphire Radeon HD6950 2GB
2 x Gigabyte GeForce GTX 580 1536MB Ultra Durable

Basically the same price is the only reason I ask, also heard the 6900 series run better together than the 580. any oppinions



it will be going with

Intel Core i7 960
ASUS Rampage III Extreme Motherboard
