I really want to upgrade to a newer video card.

I currently have a Nvidia 285 GTX 2GB card in my computer. I really want to upgrade to a newer card for under 250 dollars, but everywhere I go, there are different opinions and different results. I put RIFT at super high graphics everything, but slows down to about 24 to 30 frames a second. I'm looking to pull 60 fps easily with everything up including AA and AF.

Here is my machine specs:
Q9550 Intel Quad Core with a GIGABYTE EP45-UD3P MB
Thermaltake V1 Heatsink; Antec "Nine Hundred" Case
OCZ DDR2 PC2-6400 SLI-Ready Edition 4GB Dual Channel
BFG GeForce GTX 285 OC - 2GB GDDR3 Video Card
(2) Dell S2409W HD Monitors; Resolution: 1920x1080
Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard, Sidewinder X8 mouse
Creative 7.1 Surround Speakers
Win 7 Pro x64

Based on this information, what is the recommended spanking card I can get to beat my current video card?

this is what my card looks like:
