i Have a ASUS M5A78L/USB motherboard running win7 64bit.
after some updates (silverlight and bing desktop) my onboard sound is no longer picking up any devices i plug into the 3.5 jacks or the front board jacks. tried restoring the pc to before the updates and still not picking up any devices in the 3.5mm jack.
the speakers are working on other things. and the only device that it shows is conected is the digital S/PDIF is connected. but i have nothing attached to that on the mobo?
is there a way of working out whats wrong and id there a easy fix?
