AMD FX - 8120 and Asus M5A88-M Mobo

If you are expecting high overclocks (4ghz+) then I would suggest you to get the Asus M5A97 Evo.
As for the ram, are you going to buy an aftemarket CPU cooler?

Both are quite similar & fairly low profile, which allows it to fit under most of the CPU coolers.

Hi, I am looking to overclock around 3.8 to 4 Ghz but wanted a Micro ATX board not full ATX. Also yes will consider and probably buy a new CPU cooler too. As for RAM it is 1600 when overclocked so was not sure .

Well, Not sure but I've heard that the M5A88-M overclocks well.

You can OC your mobo to run 1600Mhz memory, or else the mobo will automatically downclock it to 1333Mhz.
You can get the 1600Mhz memory, run it @1333Mhz & maybe in the future OC it to 1600Mhz. Or you can save some bucks and buy 1333Mhz ram.
FYI, There isn't much difference between 1333Mhz & 1600Mhz. So, its really your choice.

I think I will go for the above and get the 1600Mhz RAM so I am future proofed a little bit.
