Can not get right res

Hi guys,

Currently i am using dell e228wfp monitor. Its native resolution is 1680 by 1050. My graphics card is radeon 1300x low profile as i am using small case. So, my problem is that i can not go to the 1680 by 1050. When i set this res., there is a blue color on the edges of my screes. It is kind of cutted resolution. What might cause this problem? I was using catalyst version number 7, and then changed to 8 th. Still cutted edges are appearing.

Are you running linux or something? Why are you using such low driver versions?

I think i got the solution, the picture at wallpaper i was using was not 1680 by 1050. Its res, was less. When i installed a wallpaper with the right res, it worked! Did not try it in games, but i think there should not be any problems. Thanks
