Windows 7 home premium password not working

when I type in my password and enter it tells me the user name or password is incorrect can I fix that

  2. if you have actually forgot your password then restoring from a system back up will set the password to what it was before

    Derp, without a disc, how are you meant to restore when you cant log on.. derp..?
