Is the ASrock extreme3 gen3 good for overclocking ?

i bought this board a few months ago and i'm debating whether i should get an i5 2500k or a i5 2500, i don't really plan to overclock because i don't want to mess up my CPU in the process. i just want to play the latest games such as crysis witcher, BF3 and other games.

It has an 8+4 phase power design, so while not being a record breaking OC'er it will be able to handle most OC's with ease.

I would say 5GHz (with the proper cooling of course) would be attainable with a 2500k./
