Upgrade my Desktop

I want to upgrade my pc. I have a Core 2 Duo E8500 @ 3.16 Ghz, 4 Gb 1066 DDR 2 ram, Windows 7 64bit, Gigabyte GTX 275 graphics card.(3dmark vantage score=11600 on my system)
My options are:
1. i5 2500k Proccessor, motherboard to match, 4Gb 1333 DDR3 ram.
or
2. Gigabyte GTX 570 Windforce

I am into GAMING. I want more graphic speed and quality in my games. Can anybody tell me witch option to take please

The easiest option is to upgrade your graphics card first to see if you can get the boost you need. A C2D e8500 is still a good CPU and when OC'd it will give you excellent performance in most games.

So my suggestion is to upgrade your graphic card, see if it gives you the significant boost you want. If it doesn't boost it far enough then grab the i5 2500k with the accompanied peripherals.

Option 3 which is a combination of 1 and 2 with a bump of up to 8 or 16 gb ram. Win 7 64 bit will use the extra ram to run better and your gaming will definatly run better as well.
