Increase your motherboard's capability to fully support ddr2 800?

Hi,

i have notice that a ddr2-800mhz on a motherboard that supports up to 667mhz, automatically downclocks the ddr2 to 667mhz.

is there a way maybe through like overclocking abilities to increase the motherboard's capability to fully support ddr2 800mhz (without it underclocking)?

Do you mean this is the motherboards hardware limitation? is it possible to overcome it by overclocking or something?
