Here are it's specs:

Sapphire HD6990 4Gb

750W gold standard power supply.

Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD3 Intel P67 DDR3
USB3+SATA3 LGA1155 PCI-E

Intel Core i5 2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz 6MB 95W LGA1155 (will over clock)

Corsair Hydro Series H50 Hydro CPU Cooler LGA1156/LGA1366/AM3

Kingston HyperX 2x2GB DDR3-1600 Kit CL9

Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 32MB Cache SATA3

LG GH22LS50 22x LightScribe Black SATA DVD Writer

Lian-Li LanCool Dragonlord PC-K62B Black Interior w/Window

(also comes with Microsoft Windows 7 OEM Home Premium 64Bit OS installed)

I will be buying it second hand for around $1900 American, from a guy who got it pre-built for him by a local business a few months back. Its covered by warranty for another 18 months.
Your advice will be much appreciated.

No, that imo is not a deal,

are the kind of systems two large buys you,
you could build a system comparable to that guys one a lot cheaper, and the psu although sounds good with the 'gold standard' motif, what psu actually is it?
I wouldn't advise you to buy that, I advise you to build one yourself mate,
unless circumstances forbid ofc

Are you located in the US? May be a good idea to roughly price out all the components. Take a look at warranty stuff- a lot of times they don't transfer from original purchaser, which should be a huge factor. In US...

Sapphire HD6990 4Gb - $720ish (but you can get same/better performance for $500 with two 6950's)

750W gold standard power supply. - roughly $100; could be less depending on brand/model

Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD3 Intel P67 DDR3 USB3+SATA3 LGA1155 PCI-E - $130

Intel Core i5 2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz 6MB 95W LGA1155 (will over clock) - $225

Corsair Hydro Series H50 Hydro CPU Cooler LGA1156/LGA1366/AM3 - $75

Kingston HyperX 2x2GB DDR3-1600 Kit CL9 - $50

Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 32MB Cache SATA3 - $60

LG GH22LS50 22x LightScribe Black SATA DVD Writer - $30ish?

Lian-Li LanCool Dragonlord PC-K62B Black Interior w/Window - $130ish

(also comes with Microsoft Windows 7 OEM Home Premium 64Bit OS installed) - $90

I total $1610 for everything including OS. Shipping + tax could be a factor depending on your location. If you're game for the adventure of building yourself, I'd pass this up and order your own stuff. You would have $300 more to play with for the same total price (assuming you use the same components) and you'll have a neater warranty situation.
