Motherboard (ECS)
MCP61PM-HM Iris8

Memory Stick (Newegg)
G.SKILL 4GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory Model F2-6400CL5S-4GBPQ

One of my slots is broken and I want 4GB ram, so I can't buy a 2x2GB kit.
I plan on using only 1 slot, 1 stick, 4GB.

All the specs seem to match, but the motherboard website says:
"Supports 2GB DDR2 DIMMs"
"Supports up to 4 GB*"

So I'm not sure if it's going to work or not. Tell me what you guys think

Yes it will support the 4GB X 1 slot of RAM, I would suggest that you use the DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) as that is the max your mobo can support. I plan on using 2X4GB of RAM on mine but I have windows 7 (64bit) and have my CPU overclocked. Let us know how it goes, good luck!!
